After cleaning up from a corporate event, Rick Mayker, a custodian for the Cumming 50,000 square foot Stars and Strikes location, found a loose diamond. He told the manager right away. When Sandra Green, an attendee of the corporate event, called the Metro Atlanta, GA bowling alley location, she learned that Mayker had found the stone.
Greene made a personal visit to thank Mayker, giving him a cash reward for his honesty. Jack Canouse, a co-owner of Stars and Strikes, said that Mayker's pay it forward action should return to him throughout the year. Stars and Strikes also has plans to reward Mayker's deed.

V-103 radio show personality, Ryan Cameron, hosted the 20th annual celebrity bowling challenge at the Stars and Strikes Stone Mountain, GA family bowling center. Several celebrities came to help raise funds for the Ryan Cameron Foundation Leadership Academy. The academy provides programs and resources for the youth in metro Atlanta.
